With a focus on highly detailed anatomy the
Interactive Hip is stunning interactive 3D anatomy
atlas, image library and reference tool for an in-depth
view of the hip and acetabulum.
View clear, detailed and accurate 3D modeling of the key
anatomy of the hip and acetabulum.
Choose from hundreds of highly detailed and labeled
views of the hip joint, pelvis, thigh, lumbar plexus,
sacral and coccygeal plexuses, surface features and bone
regions.
Peel away layers of anatomy from bone to skin and rotate
the model at any stage to view and identify any
structure. All structures have accompanying text and
links to additional images and video clips inlcuding
labelled dissections, annotated illustrations, clinical
slides and biomechanics including hip range of motion.
The disc also includes 7 spectacular biomechanic
animations to show the hip range of motion, hip gait and
stresses, including acetabular stress, cement stress,
cortex stress and prosthesis stress as well as brand new
impingement animations and surface anatomy videos.
The MRI section looks within the joint itself and
compares MR slices in 3 planes (axial, sagittal and
coronal) with the equivalent slice through the 3D model
in up to 27 slices.
Brand new content includes 14 new views of the lumbar,
sacral and coccygeal plexuses and 2 fantastic new
animations of hip impingement created with consultation
from Thaddeus Laird MD, Jeff Mast MD and Paul Shonnard
MD and members of the Bern Hip Group, Switzerland.

"I work in a teaching hospital, the
CD would be useful for educational purposes but it would
be a marvelous way of explaining a total hip replacement
to a patient also. How do you rate the content? Superb.
10/10 The CD is excellent. A work of genius and will
surely help anyone who has the use of it.
Congratulations."
Orthopedic Resident, Our Lady's Hospital for Sick
Children in Dublin, Ireland.
"The CD was excellent, overall well organized and good
content. One of the best parts was the different
diagrams with the corresponding anatomy image. The
surgical videos were also great quality. The CD would be
very useful for teaching, reference and patient
education but I would use it most for resident
teaching."
